Our client, a leading independent asset manager, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Control Specialist for a short-term contract. This role requires an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with strong expertise in IFRS financial statement preparation and audit management.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the completion of annual financial statement audits for multiple legal entities, including the UK consolidation group.
• Manage day-to-day interactions with external auditors, ensuring timely and accurate information delivery.
• Review and validate all inputs into financial statements, maintaining compliance and high standards.
• Work closely with finance teams and stakeholders to meet audit deadlines efficiently.

 

Candidate Requirements

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with proven IFRS financial statement experience.
• Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to escalate issues proactively.
• A self-starter with a track record of identifying and implementing efficiency improvements.
