Senior Internal Auditor
Are you an experienced Internal Auditor looking for a role that offers challenge, variety, and career growth? We’re recruiting for a Senior Internal Auditor to join a dynamic and forward-thinking audit team within the insurance and financial services sector.
The Role
This role involves conducting risk-based audits across key business areas, assessing internal controls, and providing valuable insights to senior stakeholders. You’ll work on a mix of financial, operational, and regulatory audits, helping to drive improvements and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute end-to-end internal audits to assess risks and controls.
- Collaborate with teams to evaluate business processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Present audit findings to senior leadership, providing actionable recommendations.
- Support junior auditors and contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies.
- Utilise data analysis tools such as SQL and Power BI to enhance audit insights.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in internal audit, risk, or controls (preferably within insurance or financial services).
- Relevant qualifications (CIA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent preferred).
- Strong understanding of UK regulations, risk management, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
