Internal Audit Manager
We’re looking for an experienced Internal Audit Manager to join a leading insurance organisation in the Midlands. This role offers the opportunity to lead and support multiple audits, providing assurance on risk management and internal controls.
Previous experience working within Insurance or for a Top Tier Consultancy servicing Insurance clients would be advantageous. This is a hybrid role that requires two days in the Midlands based office each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver internal audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Plan and execute risk assessments, control evaluations, and test plans.
- Identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare clear, concise audit reports and present findings to senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with risk, compliance, and senior management teams.
- Occasionally international travel
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in internal audit, ideally within insurance or financial services.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Professional audit qualifications (e.g., CIA, ACA, ACCA) preferred.
