My client is a global investment bank based in central London.
They are looking to hire a Compliance Control Room manager.
You will provide management of the Control Room function on a day-to-day basis.
Management of the Central Compliance and Control Room function on a day-to-day basis including work flow, ensuring the processing, preparation and submission of all daily control room reports as required (Daily Restricted List, Credit Research List, PA Dealing Stop & Watch List, Short Selling Reports, Takeover Panel Reports, Watch List/Restricted List Monitoring. Processing of PAD requests, Gift & Entertainment requests and Outside Business Interests submissions)
There will be additional exposure to the central compliance function making this role more than just a control room role. Being part of a smaller compliance team, you will be able to affect other areas of compliance.
You will manage and maintain all policies and procedures for the control room.
For this role you must have exposure in the control room for a compliance team at an Investment bank.
You must have an understanding of regulatory compliance in capital markets and sales and trading. You must understand the rules and regulations around MIFID, MAR and EMIR.
This is a great opportunity for someone with 5 years experience in control room looking for more responsibility.
Hybrid working is available, 3 days in the office 2 at home.
Salary is between £80,000 – £100,000 on the basic
