Forward thinking Financial Services firm, are seeking to grow to their existing cyber function with another dedicated Security Engineer.
This role is varied, offering the incumbent an opportunity to get involved with network security (firewall configuration), end to end Vulnerability Management and collaboration with the SOC on analysing SIEM events.
Some of your responsibilities will be as follows:
- End to end Vulnerability Management, from monitoring, logging to remediation.
- Deployment, implementation and verifying the deployment of antivirus software, patches, updates, and configurations.
- Assist with creating new firewall rules.
- Stakeholder management – being able to communicate to all levels of the business on a technical, and non-technical level.
- Promote Cyber Security Awareness across the firm.
To be successful in your application, you will need:
- Ideally a networking background – experience in Intrusion Prevention and Web Application Firewall exclusions.
- Experience with Azure.
- Linux
- Vulnerability/Threat Management experience.
- Anti-Virus and Attack Surface Management experience.
