Digital & Technology Risk and Controls Manager

We are working with a leading bank to hire a Technology Risk Management Specialist. If you have a background in technology risk management, audit, or controls and seek a new challenge, this could be the perfect role for you. This hybrid position allows you to work from home with one day a week in the office.

You will partner with the business to manage risks and controls within the agreed risk appetite using our risk framework.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to manage their risk and control profiles.
• Quickly escalate emerging risks and ensure actions are defined and owned.
• Promote risk awareness across the business and contribute to the design and implementation of operational risk principles.
• Implement a robust governance framework for effective decision-making.
• Manage interactions between the business, internal audit, second line of defence, and other functions.

The Skills You’ll Need:

• Strong understanding of technology risk and controls, especially in retail banking.
• Excellent skills in managing senior stakeholders.
• Experience in digital and technology risk assessments, AWS, and Cloud technologies.
• Creative problem-solving skills for non-standard procedures.
• Understanding of IT controls and automation design.
