Forecasting Performance Analyst
We’re looking for a Volume Forecasting Performance Analyst to join a Volume Forecasting (VF) team, responsible for forecasting energy demand and renewable generation across a major UK portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report on renewable energy forecast accuracy and financial impacts.
- Develop metrics to assess forecasting performance.
- Lead continuous improvement in reporting and insights.
- Identify value-adding opportunities and forecast improvements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance reporting.
Requirements:
- Strong coding skills (SQL, Python, R) and an analytical mindset.
- A degree in a numerical discipline or relevant experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the UK energy market is a plus.
