Internal Audit Manager – Asset/Wealth Management
This international asset and wealth manager has a position within one of its divisions that focuses more on retail customers and IFAs through its wealth management platform. The ideal candidate is someone with an asset management/wealth management internal audit background who is leading or close to leading audits.
This person needs to be reasonably self-sufficient, and to be able to identify controls, design test strategies and carry out the tests and mentor other more junior members of the team (not line management at this level). This person will also need to be good with stakeholders as there is significant senior stakeholder engagement.
Most of the business is UK centric, so there is very little travel. The main centre is City based and hybrid working only requires people in about 2 days a week. While the global audit team is one of the larger teams in asset/wealth management, this sub-team consists of about ten people who all work very closely together.
