My client, a leading technology company based in Birmingham seeks a skilled Internal Auditor to join their team and support the ongoing success of their Quality Management System (QMS) and Information Security Management System (ISMS). This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple business functions, driving compliance, fostering continual improvement, and enhancing processes in a dynamic environment.

The Role:

As an Internal Auditor, you will take ownership of the Audit Plan, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 27001 (Information Security). Responsibilities include conducting audits, identifying improvement opportunities, and working with teams to implement best practices. You’ll also manage risk treatment plans, supplier audits, and assist with external audit preparations and business continuity exercises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and execute internal audits for QMS and ISMS.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements.
  • Update and maintain risk treatment plans and policies.
  • Provide training and raise awareness of ISO standards across teams.
  • Liaise with external auditors and support evidence provision.
  • Conduct supplier audits to ensure quality and security compliance.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will have experience in Internal Audit and a strong understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards. Knowledge of SOC2 or Tisax is advantageous. Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented approach are essential for this role.
