Operational Resilience Consultant required for a global financial services firm. You will work within Governance and Change in strengthening operational resilience across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Documentation and Compliance: Ensure operational resilience documentation aligns with governance and regulatory standards (FCA/PRA, DORA).
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive a coordinated approach to reporting and resilience management.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and report on deliverables, risks, and issues; facilitate workshops to gather technical and non-technical input.
  • Data Management: Support data mapping to connect new and established sources to reporting systems, ensuring data quality.
  • Issue Resolution: Work with stakeholders to identify, track, and resolve resilience gaps; lead discussions to address emerging issues.
  • Governance and Reporting: Create PowerPoint presentations for committees, take meeting minutes, and support the preparation of self-assessment reports.

Experience:

    • Background in governance, ideally within the UK financial sector.
    • Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow (Operational Resilience module) and JIRA (preferred).
    • Experience in operational resilience, business continuity, and risk management.

Knowledge:

    • Strong understanding of UK regulatory standards for operational resilience, DORA EU regulations, and business continuity principles.

Skills:

    • Ability to track project deliverables and escalate issues when necessary.
    • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship building.
    • Competency in preparing presentations and reports for senior management.
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to timelines and critical paths.
