This is a senior role within the compliance function of a leading regional bank based in Dubai. Varied responsibilities will include managing all regulatory compliance and conduct risk activities and the supporting team, and managing the customer complaints unit. The role will also encompass more generalist compliance management and strategy, taking a lead in the interaction with regulators and advising business leaders on compliance and regulatory risk/financial crime issues. You will play a key role in assisting the Head of Compliance maintain a high performing compliance function, managing change and ensuring that the bank is fully informed on any developing regulatory issues.
Suitable candidates must have previous experience of working with regulators in the Middle East region with generalist experience covering regulatory compliance, conduct risk, AML and financial crime compliance. In depth compliance/assurance experience will have been accompanied with team management responsibilities and advisory duties.
