Role Description

• Reporting directly into the CRO the Operational Risk Manager is responsible for managing the risk function of the Bank and contributing to the enhancement of risk management policies, processes, and culture
• Key responsibilities include developing risk policies, maintaining the Risk Register, high level oversite of other risk types (Liquidity, Market, Operational, etc.), and overseeing the credit function to minimize risk and enhance profitability.
• The role involves liaising with different departments to mitigate risks, preparing risk reports, conducting risk assessments, and managing internal stress tests and recovery plans.
• Additional duties include coordinating the Business Continuity Plan review, monitoring outsourcing policy compliance, and horizon scanning for new regulatory requirements.

Skills Needed:

• 5+ years at a small-medium size Bank managing Operational Risk
• Understanding of ILAAP preferable
• Flexible & adaptable attitude
• Willingness to role up sleeves
• 5 days a week in the office
