Senior Associate – Global Advisory/Investment Banking
My client is a prestigious bank which has a long and rich history. It has a position for a bright FS internal /external auditor to join its Global Advisory team. The ideal candidate will have an investment banking or capital markets background but can come from other FS backgrounds.
This person doesn’t need a professional qualification but will need to demonstrate an ability to think on their feet and have an appreciation of risks and controls. Audits will focus on global advisory business lines e.g. ECM, DCM and M&A and equity research. He or she will be mentored by both the team which is experienced and the hiring Director and the bank will invest in his or her development.
Career progression doesn’t need to wait for someone else to move on, this role can grow organically and there will be an expectation of gaining promotion to VP in about 2-4 years. The bank offers hybrid working with an expectation of being in the office 3 days a week and the hours are very much 9-5pm. Travel will be low, although there can be opportunities to go to reasonably exotic locations if requested.
