I am working with a market leading International Commercial Insurance business on an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Internal Auditor to join their Internal Audit team based in London. This role offers the chance to work within this global organisation, providing independent assurance and consulting services to enhance business operations.

Applicants with previous experience conducting End to End Risk based Audits within a Commercial Insurance environment preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and improve internal controls over insurance operations.
  • Plan audit scopes, prepare audit programs, and conduct procedures effectively.
  • Identify risks, deviations, and root causes, proposing solutions to management.
  • Prepare audit reports and maintain organised work papers.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
  • Utilise data analysis techniques to support audit objectives.
  • Share knowledge and provide constructive feedback to colleagues.

What You’ll Bring:

  • ACCA, CIA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in financial services or insurance is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros) and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
