Senior Legal Counsel

I’m supporting my client who is a well known multi strategy hedge fund to find a senior attorney to join them.

They are set up to have a very integrated global legal team meaning whatever time of day the business has support.

The company is full of incredibly bright people who are at the top of their game and looking for someone similar who can join them.

The role will support across all of their global strategies but they recognise someone joining will likely be stronger in certain areas than others.

They will need to see clear and demonstrable exposure to some of:

• rates
• FX
• equities
• Credit
• Mortgage securities

In terms of profile they are targeting people with outstanding academic records and a professional profile to match. That could be from a competitor fund, a bank or a law firm.

Not only will you join at a senior level with compensation to match there is a really good potential path for progression which is rare in this type of business.

They are looking in the $600-700,000 total cash comp range but the most important thing we’re looking for is the right fit regardless of compensation expectations.
