SMCR Compliance specialist
My client is an investment bank based in central London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team at a top investment bank. They are looking to hire a regulatory change compliance officer who has specialised in the senior manager certification regime (SMCR). They are open to considering candidates from all financial services not just investment banking.
Location: central London, Hybrid working 2 days in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update SMR documentation, processes, and regulatory submissions.
- Ensure current understanding of SMR matters and prepare related reports.
- Keep Management Responsibilities Map and Statements of Responsibilities up to date.
- Manage all SMF documentation including job descriptions, Reasonable Steps, and training materials.
- Prepare SMF regulatory filings and reports for senior management.
- Monitor regulatory developments and propose necessary changes.
- Support the SMR Manager with training and guidance for stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Experience with Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR).
- Knowledge of SMCR regulations and banking compliance.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and resolve routine problems.
- Proactive and self-motivated.
- Higher Diploma, qualification, or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
