Programme Manager – Front-to-Back OMS Implementation
📍 Hybrid (London-based)
💰 £750–£1,000/day (Inside IR35)
⏳ 12–18 month contract

A leading asset management firm is undertaking a full front-to-back replacement of its core investment systems – consolidating OMS, IBOR and PMS platforms. This is a significant programme of work, spanning trading, operations, compliance, risk, performance, and reporting.
We are looking for a senior contract professional who has delivered this exact type of change before. This is a role for someone with proven experience in buy-side OMS implementations – not someone looking to step up or learn on the job.
10+ years’ experience in asset management or hedge fund technology change
Led the end-to-end implementation of an OMS (e.g. Enfusion, Bloomberg EMSX, Charles River, or similar)
Detailed knowledge of equity trading workflows, execution, and post-trade processes
Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, documentation, and UAT coordination
Experience working across the entire trade lifecycle, including:
Order generation to execution
Portfolio rebalancing and compliance
Trade matching, settlement, reconciliations
Fund accounting, NAV, IBOR/ABOR
Exposure to fund structures (e.g. UCITS, SMAs, hedge funds) and regulatory regimes (MiFID II, EMIR, AIFMD)
Your background is primarily in banking, insurance, or wealth management
You haven’t led or been directly accountable for an OMS implementation project
You lack familiarity with buy-side operations, trading systems, and fund structures
You’re not confident engaging with senior stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams
This role requires a contractor who can operate independently, think critically, and drive complex change through to delivery – on time and with minimal oversight.
