Programme Manager – Front-to-Back OMS Implementation

💰 £750–£1,000/day (Inside IR35)

A leading asset management firm is undertaking a full front-to-back replacement of its core investment systems – consolidating OMS, IBOR and PMS platforms. This is a significant programme of work, spanning trading, operations, compliance, risk, performance, and reporting.

We are looking for a senior contract professional who has delivered this exact type of change before. This is a role for someone with proven experience in buy-side OMS implementations – not someone looking to step up or learn on the job.

The right candidate will have:

• 10+ years’ experience in asset management or hedge fund technology change

• Led the end-to-end implementation of an OMS (e.g. Enfusion, Bloomberg EMSX, Charles River, or similar)

• Detailed knowledge of equity trading workflows, execution, and post-trade processes

• Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, documentation, and UAT coordination

• Experience working across the entire trade lifecycle, including:

  • Order generation to execution

  • Portfolio rebalancing and compliance

  • Trade matching, settlement, reconciliations

  • Fund accounting, NAV, IBOR/ABOR

• Exposure to fund structures (e.g. UCITS, SMAs, hedge funds) and regulatory regimes (MiFID II, EMIR, AIFMD)

This role requires a contractor who can operate independently, think critically, and drive complex change through to delivery – on time and with minimal oversight.
